How the Speed Tests Work

• WiFi only. Simple Signal runs download and upload speed tests over the WiFi network your phone is connected to. Tests never run over cellular.
• Saved by room. Save your results under a room name, then compare rooms to see where your connection is strong and where it drops off.
• Stays on your phone. Your rooms and results are stored on your iPhone and aren't sent to us. Deleting the app removes them.

Why Simple Signal Asks for Location

iOS requires Location permission before any app can read the name of the WiFi network you're connected to. Simple Signal uses it only to show your network name on screen. It never asks for your location coordinates, and it never stores or sends your location.

Restoring a Pro Purchase

Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase. If you've already bought Pro and it isn't showing, use Restore Purchases in the app.
